Configuring Epson Ethernet Printer

Considerations

Printer needs to be set to a local IP address (cannot use default/test print IP)

Drivers may need to be installed for some windows POS software.

  1. Install and Start the EpsonNet Config tool (can be found online or on a disc received with your printer.)
  2. When the EpsonNet Config is already installed, start it by clicking Start/All Programs/EpsonNet/EpsonNet
    Config Vx/EpsonNet Config.

  3. Once the printer is plugged in (power and router via ethernet cable) click on Refresh
  4. Select the printer and press Configuration.
  5. Under TCP/IP subheading Basic select Automatic to enable automatic IP specification.
  6. Press OK.
  7. Your Printer will now be configured with an Automatically generated IP Address. (If Status does not change to green press Refresh)
  8. Please ensure you fix the IP Address of your printer to prevent it from getting changed.
  9. Select the Printer and press Configuration.
  10. Under TCP/IP subheading Basic select Manual.
  11. Manually enter the details specified in the example above and Transmit these setting to the Printer.
