VNC Remote Viewer for ViViPOS

  1. Installation:

    1. Download VNC Viewer software from the following website: http://www.realvnc.com/download/viewer/
    2. Choose your operating system.
    4. Type in the required fields to proceed.
    6. Read through the terms and conditions to be able to Download.
    8. Save the file onto your computer and commence installation. 

  2. Remote Control Password:

    1. Navigate to the Remote Control section in the Control Panel.
    3. Save your new password and verify.
    5. Take note of the Port Number displayed above. (This information will be required when Port Forwarding.)

  3. Port Forwarding:

    1. In order to access the terminal, Port Forward settings on your particular router are required.
    2. Port Forward onto 5900
    3. Contact your Router Manufacturer or refer to the manual for instruction.

  4. Accessing:

    1. Your ViViPOS IP Address can be found in the Control panel, under Network Settings
    2. Refer to the bottom left of the screen.
    4. Enter your ViViPOS IP Address into the VNC Server field


    5. Press OK to proceed.
    6. Press Continue to proceed.
    7. Enter your ViViPOS Remote Control Password to finalize the process.
